Product Description

HF502C is a serum-free and protein-free medium suitable for insect cell culture, with a dry powder containing Pluronic F-68, glutamine and sodium bicarbonate. Optimized to support the high-density suspension growth of the BTI-TN-5BM (Tn5, High5) cell line and the recombinant gene expression of the baculovirus expression system (BEVs). Furthermore, HF502C supports the production of recombinant proteins by High5 cells. The highest cell density of H5 cells in HF502C can achieve 9.0×106 cells/ml, which can be passaged more than 20 times without reduced activity. HF502C is a complete medium that does not require additional protein or other insect hormones before use.

Introduction for preparation

1.Add 90% final volume of ultrapure water to the suitable container, add the suitable culture medium to stir and dissolve, and add the ultrapure water to the final volume.
2.Adjust pH to 6.0-6.4 with 10N sodium hydroxide or concentrated hydrochloric acid solution as required
3.The bacteria were removed by 0.2 um micron filter membrane. and the solution should be kept away fromlight at 2-8°C.
4.1ml of component B (or sterile added after filtration) to each liter of the medium before filtration
