MDCK Product Introduction: WuXi Biologics has developed a series of suspension culture media for MDCK cells. Previously, they introduced MDCK-SLM low-serum culture medium (with serum from newborn or young calves reduced to below 3%) and MDCK-TSM trace-serum culture medium (with serum from newborn or young calves reduced to 0.5%). Subsequently, they launched MDCK-SFM serum-free culture medium. These culture media achieve the same cell growth density and doubling time as culture media with 10% serum content. They have made significant contributions to reducing production costs and improving production convenience. MSO1A is a serum-free culture medium specifically developed by WuXi Biologics to support suspension culture of MDCK cells. This medium can support MDCK cell suspension culture, eliminating cell damage caused by amplification during microcarrier suspension culture. It addresses limitations on cell density during large-scale microcarrier suspension culture and improves cell density, thus enhancing virus amplification efficiency.

Culture Way
---Static culture:
The culture supernatant was removed from the square bottles, and 5ml of fresh medium was addedto the T-25 square bottles (15 ml/ T-75 square bottles). After repeated blows, the cell suspension wasprepared and diluted in fresh medium to an appropriate density, 1.2x106 cells/ T-25 square bottle or3.6x106 cells/ T-75 square bottle. They were grown in a biochemical incubator at 27°C + 0.5C. Undernormal circumstances, after 3-4 days, subculture when the confluence reaches 100%.
---Suspension culture:
The shaker speed is 100-135rpm. Generally use 110rpm (if the rotation radius is 26 mm, therecommended speed is 110rpm (the total volume of 250 ml), if the total volume of the shake bottledoes not exceed 3L, the speed can not be adiusted), The shaker should be placed in a biochemicaincubator, which temperature at 27 0.5°C with no humidity and aas controls reauired, Turn thelid of the bottle to ensure the gas exchange in the bottle. In SF-SFM, the density of SF9 cells canexceed 1.0x10
