SFM Medium Product Introduction: SF-SFM is a serum-free and protein-free culture medium suitable for insect cell Sf9/21 cultivation, containing Pluronic F-68. This medium is suitable for expressing recombinant proteins using the insect cell baculovirus expression system. Most Sf9/21 cell lines can be directly transferred from other serum-free or serum-containing media to SF-SFM for passaging without the need for adaptation. SF-SFM supports both adherent and suspension growth of Sf9 and Sf21 cells. In SF-SFM, Sf9 and Sf21 cells can typically reach cell densities of 1.0×10^7 cells/ml or higher with cell viability exceeding 95%, even after more than 20 passages.

Culture Way
---Static culture:
The culture supernatant was removed from the square bottles, and 5ml of fresh medium was addedto the T-25 square bottles (15 ml/ T-75 square bottles). After repeated blows, the cell suspension wasprepared and diluted in fresh medium to an appropriate density, 1.2x106 cells/ T-25 square bottle or3.6x106 cells/ T-75 square bottle. They were grown in a biochemical incubator at 27°C + 0.5C. Undernormal circumstances, after 3-4 days, subculture when the confluence reaches 100%.
---Suspension culture:
The shaker speed is 100-135rpm. Generally use 110rpm (if the rotation radius is 26 mm, therecommended speed is 110rpm (the total volume of 250 ml), if the total volume of the shake bottledoes not exceed 3L, the speed can not be adiusted), The shaker should be placed in a biochemicaincubator, which temperature at 27 0.5°C with no humidity and aas controls reauired, Turn thelid of the bottle to ensure the gas exchange in the bottle.
